Week ending 28th February, 2021
After reopening this week for LOCAL anglers only, fishing has been excellent with 121 fish caught of which 100 were released. Some really big fish were landed and as we ask anglers to be careful when handling fish that are released we don't have many photos to show but Richard Cutworth captured his 8lb4oz beauty - one of the 7 he caught - plus one at 7lb2oz. Many anglers in double digits. Best flies - Apps bloodworms, Cats whiskers, black buzzers, snakes and dries. Fish are at variable depths but well distributed across the water which has excellent clarity at the moment. Stay Safe.
