Fishing report w/e 22/03/2020

UPDATE: Coronavirus (COVID 19) We have decided to remain open as usual as we know during these uncertain times, its essential for everyones mental health that they can continue to do what they enjoy - within reason, Fly Fishing being one. We feel we can operate business as usual in an extremely safe way if certain guidelines are adhered to. So effective today, upon entering the site, you will find a hot soapy bucket of water for you to use to wash your hands. Paper towels for drying. We are implementing ONE CATCH AND RELEASE ticket - £20 per person for EVERYONE. Payment can be made via paypal or bank transfer (call 07795571371 for details) OR bring the exact cash and deposit it in to the cash box by the fishing cabins door. No sales from the shop will be permitted and only one person in the bathroom at a time. The kitchen will NOT be open for tea and coffee so we recommend you bring a flask with you. A deep clean of the bathrooms and surfaces will be done at the end of each day. On the banks you MUST remain at least 2 meters apart and NO BOATS WILL BE AVAILABLE. If these guidelines are followed, we believe we can offer a great break from self isolation.
FISHING HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. Buzzer and damsel mania at the moment and even with a cold north easterly wind, fish have been well distributed and responding well. 28 anglers caught 78 fish ( 13 taken). We plan to be open for the foreseeable future and wish you and your families the best health.
