An awesome couple of weeks fishing since our last report which saw a bit of everything. There were plenty of new anglers trying Blackdyke for the first time as well as two young boys who caught their first trout which made their dad as happy and excited as they were. The week ended with a group that traveled from Grafham fishery for a fun competition organized by James Stewart. Everybody did very well - all catching and they ended up with a rod average of around 7 and it was very was obvious that these boys knew what they were doing. After restocking on Thursday 10th of February and with the near perfect conditions the fish were very active taking numerous flies and patterns. Alot were caught with green and white, black and green and bloodworm as is becoming the norm at the fishery but also buzzers ,suspended buzzers, blobs and fabs. All in all a fantastic weeks fishing and I can only imagine it's going to get better and better as spring approaches. Picture are of : Christian Griffin with his birthday treat.
