Fishing Report

Week ending 12/11/23

I'm pleased to say there was a lot more consistency with the fishing results last week now that the weather has settled down to something like normal. Small lures often seemed to be your best bet with either black and green patterns, blue flash damsel or cats whiskers taking the most. Other flies that worked were apps bloodworm, blobs, fabs and hoppers. With a fresh restock last week, the fish are nicely spread out, the west bank is fishing as well as the east bank and all three jetties performed quite well. The water level is looking great now and on course for being at the desired depth by mid-month as predicted. This is just in time for the Teff bank heat that we host on Sunday the 19th of November. We will be open as normal on that day but swims may be limited. Thank you always for your continued support of the fishery, feedback has been wonderful and we look forward to seeing you soon. Remember, we offer tuition - £45 - 2 hour lesson, all equipment included PLUS fishing afterwards. Gift certificates available.
